A wedding Photographers Guide
Today our blog and small guide features Maxine and Jack's Wedding,
Venue: Swynford Manor, Cambs.
The Venue
Swynford Manor is an old favourite of ours.
Set in 7 acres of grounds with mature trees and open lawns, complete with honeymoon suite (great for bridal prep photos) and 12 lavish guest bedrooms.Everything and everyone is catered for. For those seeking a boutique chic style wedding, in the country, Swynford Manor is a perfect choice.
The Study is the perfect setting for civil ceremonies with space for up to 100 guests. Alternatively the Garden Room has room for up to 150 guests, ideal for larger ceremonies or wedding receptions.
When the weather is kind maybe consider an outside ceremony under the pergola - the setting for some of our photos later in the blog?
Maxine and Jack, such a fun loving couple. Affected by Covid19 (as were so many) they had got "legally" married during the pandemic so this day was the celebration they wanted to have with their family and friends.
The Couple makes their entrance. Cue all the family and friends to throw confetti over them.
Definitely time for a "knees up"!
Celebrating a couple's love is what it's all about.
Mark the Toastmaster in action.
"I see you!"
The Bride's Mum sharing some banter with the best man....
Some not so formal shots
Time for some "alone" shots
Our unposed system works a treat.
We like to include some black and white shots as well as colour. It's a classic/timeless look.
Our gallery allows visitors to change colour shots to black and white so they can see what they look like before download/purchase.
Now it's time to really get the party started as the couple make their entrance to the evening celebrations.
Ask your DJ for a confetti cannon?
