A wedding Photographers Guide
Today our blog and small guide features Danni and Mike's Wedding,
Venue: The White Hart, Gt Yeldham, North Essex.
The Essex Barn, located within the White Hart’s spacious grounds, was purpose built.
It can seat up to 200 guests in The Essex Barn and also has13 ensuite bedrooms available, including the bridal suite. It caters for both larger and smaller weddings depending on your requirements.
Due to the location in North Essex it's easily accessible from Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
Bridal Prep.
With most of our couples we begin the day with Bridal prep. Our aim is to tell the story of the day, in pictures, from the preparations to the first dance as a married couple.
Bridal prep is about the bride (and her bridesmaids) relaxing, reflecting and occasionally panicking BUT always good fun!
Although it's the Brides day (and us blokes play a supporting) role we always make sure we get some shots of the Groom, Best Man and Groomsmen!
It's Britain and there are no guarantees with the weather. Our advice is just to embrace and enjoy whatever the weather throws at you. You will have a fantastic day, regardless.
Ceremony
The ceremony was held upstairs in the Essex Barn.
The Groom nervously awaiting the arrival of his Bride.
They say never to work with animals and children but we love it and don't the flower girl and page boy make a cute picture together?
A proud Dad walks his daughter down the aisle to give her away.
After the ceremony
Every wedding has to have confetti, right?
Some formal shots (the weather had decided to behave itself by now).
Time for a bit of time together (+1)
And some alone time.
Speeches & evening
The cake cutting.
Time to get this party started! Some live music was just the ticket!
We hope our images have helped inspire you. If you are looking for photographers who always provide 2 shooters on the day, who will get to know you and what you want for your day, and to accompany you on your wedding journey why not get in touch - info@awakenimages.co.uk.
If you're contacting the venue, don't forget to tell them where you saw it.
